the trainer says you can not train this skill. only trade skills and
languages can go above your normal "caps" between levels. (hence excellent
elvish for a human at lvl 2 if you try it ;)

Even if I spend points into it? Has anyone tried that? I think I
might do it. I'm pretty sure it still shows up on my training screen
when I go to the guildmaster. Seems like I could spend the plat and
raise it. It will certainly let me. I'll try it sometime, let the
list know what happens.
