Nope I got a level 50 cleric that trained and killled me resurect me. I
still had the same side affects for about 5 minutes. Better then dying and
losing a wholle bunch of hard earned exp.

I agree, and lets not forget they are using the lowest level rez spell
available. Some of the side effects may decrease with higher level rez
spells.
