Well met fellow dark elf cleric. I am a level 21 dark elf cleric and have a
base str of 70 (which was a mistake also). Many clerics have str of 75 and
higher, but oh well whats done is done. I have some bronze pieces
(breastplate, girdle, vambrace, helm, gloves) and also a blood stained
mantle which helps a lot with the +3 strength. I'm constantly 73/73 which
really limits your armor capabilities. But theres many good magical pieces
of armor that weigh less than the bronze plate.
Another possibility (one that i am pursuing now) is to get the cracked
darkwood shield from High Hold Pass which is AC 12, Weight 5, and strength
+9. There are also flesh rings off Bonecracker in Najena which give off +2
strength.
