I'm level 11 and I've made a couple thousand without twinking of any kind :) All depends
on what you have your character do for a living. My productivity is constantly
increasing, so several hundred plat has become almost commonplace to me. A thousand is
pricy, but not unheard of. 8000 would take saving up for and really not be worth it, but
if I had nothing else to spend it on, I might go for it.
