<div id="ygrps-yiv-2108630187">I&#39;m still level 16.  I just got my tinkering skill up to 101.  This not only<br/>
exceeds the old tinkering cap, but the normal (5*Level)+5 cap.<br/>
<br/>
I say the cap is gone.<br/>
<br/>
And at this point, I will stop trying to raise my tinkering until I&#39;m 30 or<br/>
so.  I will instead focus on the more economical jewelry skill.<br/>
