I've always taken the phrase, "...The extra Metal Rod gives it a good shell
while the bottle and metal twine hold and amplify the vision..." as meaning
the collapsable pole is to flimsy to support the weight of the bottle,
reflective sharde etc...

On a more positive note, I got feedback from GZ that he passed my tinkering
petition on to the trade skills people. There where over 450 signatures on
it, maybe that will help some things.
