I do the same thing - but I can't say that I NEVER go into the store bought
items. Quite the opposite - I'd say I consistently will drop to about a
dozen and have to restock once a week.

On the "Jack" of all trades issue. - Forage is (barely) usable - but this is
basically because the food/water intake is really slow. Safe fall is pretty
nice - I can run a bit safer where formerly I'd take some damage when
Selo'ing with a drum.

But for the rest - it's useless. A cap of 40 is "Suck of all trades -
master of none". If another class had music skills capped at 40 - and tried
to sit in at a Jam Session at the Bard's Guild - I'd throw a cymbal at them
