Geez, too many Bardic Seattlites, guess I hafta come out of the closet...
Former WotC employee (which drew me to Seattle), current Microsoft employee.

Why a bard?
Jythri is my kindred spirit and was my roomate for 4 years in college (He
is, BTW, an outstanding keyboardist and song writer in real life). He sucked
me into EQ. It's his fault.

Beyond that, I just think the Bard is a lot like me... Jack of all Trades
and Master of None. I guess I sympathize with the plight of the bard; Seldom
seen as valuable by the highly specialized, but able to move in many
different circles very efficiently. I guess it's even more telling that my
secondary character is a Shaman.
