I think a lot of people get the day after Thanksgiving off (I&#39;m<br/>
self-employed so...)<br/>
<br/>
However when I wasn&#39;t self-employed - I worked for a Mutual Fund Company -<br/>
and our holiday days were determined when the New York Stock Exchange was<br/>
closed.  The day after Thanksgiving is NOT a market holiday - so I had to<br/>
work..<br/>
