I can say from personal experience that it is annoying when other people are
telling me what songs to play, especially since I still hear "play the jig"
for mana. (I'm level 24).

But this works both ways, I try not to tell strangers directly how to play
their characters. I bug my friends all the time and give them
pointers/advice, but it would be touchier with strangers.

At your level, it sounds like any mistake could be quite fatal. At any
level, we all know how hard it can be to get together a real good group that
works like a well oiled machine.

But heck, this is all just a game. Isn't it?

Lol, nevermind, we're all reading these posts, so we know how serious we
take it. :-P

I usually like to "kid" someone when I see someone doing things I don't
think they should do. It's different if it's something that will get the
group killed, I will tell them directly, and if they don't listen, give them
the heave ho to a jig. :-D

But it's good to take into consideration other people's playing styles. I
know I can be very manipulative and kind of uptight about having everything
"just right". My wife tells me so. :-P So I try to be considerate and relax
and play my little tunes and have some fun.

BTW, I really do enjoy reading all of these posts. Gives me something else
to do during work.

Windleaf Mistsong, 24th song Mandolinier, Bertox
