Those earrings come from the bartender in unrest and I don't think 20pp each
is a bad deal...I still wear mine at level 37 and find them very good bard
items. Also, depending on your AGI, they amount to more than just 4
additional AC points and as you know, every little bit helps for us.

I don't think you got hosed.
