Keep in mind the bar is updated client side, and is often wrong.

the widest spell selection.

According to him he "picked the people he knew would win the
fight". Unfortuantely his decision is going to be biased, no matter what,
since he knows his guildmates better than anyone else.

It's most likely he had an inaccurate apprisal of what he had to
work with. I mean, trying to co-ordinate 48 people is a huge task. He
knew what classes he had in his own guild, and drew from that knowledge
first.

Well, who knows. I'm only speculating.
