I personally don't kite creatures to death, i think it's cheap and cheesy,
but I don't think it's cheating.
I am usually the person designated to pull mobs, and I will bellow the
creature as much as possible on the way in to my party so that it is hurt
before it ever arrives. I never come close to killing it, but sometimes have
been able to knock a quarter of its hit points off.
