I think one of the social buttons is already setup for the Assist
command. If not, just modify one so that it is set to /assist, and
then drag that social button over to your quickpad. Then, as
mentioned below, just hit F2-F6 to target your party member you want
to help and hit the 1-6 key you assigned the social Assist button to.
I've found that sometimes you have to have both the party member and
the monster they're attacking on your screen, or it might be that you
just have to be close to the party member when you do the /assist
command. This is a very important way to make sure everyone in the
group is attacking the same monster, if that is your goal.
