I think you owe me an apology; I'm not this Torky person from Karana.
I'm Tork on Nameless, also of the ever-controversial MUD ThunderDome. I've
used the name Tork since about my first year of college (Fall 1993), and you
can trace the name/email address (

gww6e@...) progression though numerous
packet switching and network protocol dev lists.
I might be responsible for a few buffer overrun bugs but its because I coded
poorly not because I exploited them; I'm no Karana exhile (sic) and I don't
appreciate the, albeit mistaken, insinuation. :P

PS: The goblins do not have to be caught in the in the gate to despawn -
they run in place against the wall facing the wide gate until they slash
themselves dead (approx. 3-5 sec).
