I would invest in a magic weapon of some kind, be it a combine longsword or
scimitar. You can buy one from the gypsies in the Oasis for about 50pp.
They'll do fine. I'd spend the other money on some bronze plate armor.
You'll need the AC. :) If you're a wood elf, make sure you get small bronze
to save weight.
