Hmm.. I must have had really bad luck then. When I first started
fishing, poles never broke (or so it seemed). Then one day, poles started
breaking, and I went through about 6 in a week. At the time I couldn't
afford another pole ( I was about level 6), so I've never really bothered
with it much since about April.
