Bronze boots weigh a LOT for only AC 8
If you have the faction, I'd run over to Qeynos Hills. Get yourself a
Medium Quality Bear Pelt and 15gold and give them to Chandra Miller
(some time she isn't being camped)
Bear Hide boots are AC 5. Weight 2.5, and highly prized by casters once you
have gotten magical to replace them. (My own enchanter has a MQ bear pelt
in her bank account just waiting to get back over to the Qeynos area of
the country to turn it in)
Also, while in the Qeynos Hills area, you are a good level to go into
Blackburrow
and pick up a Spiked Collar -- AC 3, Str +3, Weight 0.5
If you can find a jeweler, you might be able to pick up a pair of
+2 strength rings (silver amber) for not too too much
(I think I paid 10pp for two)
