I'm assuming the spell list is incomplete, considering there
aren't any bard songs on it.

The levels now take a *lot* longer. That's what's changed.
If they follow the one-song-per-level rule, our rate of new
songs *will* be decreased, regardless of what they do with
other classes. Whether the same is true for spellcasting
classes remains to be seen. Dunno how you got class envy out
of that.
