I don't think it is DoT based on the class that actually does the steal
since in our case it was a ranger purely working on piercing only and not
casting spells... Could be DoT based on the side that looses the kill
though and maybe has something to do with overlapping DoTs there... For us
it was shaman DoTs, druid DoTs and my poison sword DoT...
