You'll probably find it changed again to 3 at level 35. There is an AC
factor from defense skill. This will affect the rounding and I have noticed
the same thing. A bronze helm would be 7 better than the BIC at one level,
then 8 better at the next, then back to 7 again. Nothing else had changed
except defense skill.

I didn't isolate it from other stats as that does not reflect "Reality" what
I did was get a Gnoll necklace (2ac 5cha) and wear it. Noted the AC
increase then took it off.
When I wore the collar at level 33 it gave me 3 ac
When I wore the collar at level 34 it gave me 4 ac
Same exact equipment at both levels. I'll double check the numbers next
time I log on to EQ (maybe never. I'm so tired of EQ and us doing all their
testing for them, and being ignored when we find problems, that I've pretty
much completely moved to Asheron's Call). Note that I've been in EQ since
beta 2.
