Don't check prices at the plate merchant next to the Qeynos
bank if you're a wood elf. He hates wood elves, and charged
me outrageous prices even when I used the sneak trick.
Steel plate is actually not that bad if you have the
plat. With our charisma and Carrilon, you aren't buying it,
you're renting it. That 787.5pp breastplate will sell back
for a bit over 700pp, so you only really pay about 80pp for
it.
