That wasn't what I found when I did the AC/level test with
wisps. With (relatively) low AC, I found they usually hit for
max damage. With high AC, I found they usually hit for far
less than their max damage. That's the trend I've been seeing
with giants too (the green ones :).

Ice giants and fire giants are a different breed entirely. :)
