I have not noticed anything about my hit percentage going down while
juggling, though it definately takes more concentration on my part. I
suppose it's possible, but I haven't really noticed it.

Juggling DOES cause a much higher incidence of "missed notes" though.

As to the drum's usefulness, I don't know who would say that it is not
useful until level 7. The level five song is amazing with the drum, as I'm
sure you all know.
