Aye, guilds can be great! I've been in NOR (New OutRiders) for over 3 years
now, and still going strong :o)

(not to mention The Realms, Forgotten Worlds, UO, AC, [formerly Ysbrius
and -=sigh!=- the Original NWN]and mebbe one or two more that I'm
forgetting)
Just beware of guilds that don't have any kind of screening process for new
recruits. Everytime I see someone in /ooc or /shout saying "Creating a
guild, looking for members", I cringe :oP
