I've never even seen the Scryer, except one time as a corpse when I was
exploring as a youngin. The few times I have been in the room talking to
campers he hasn't ever popped. How rare a spawn is he? Always wanted one
of them glowing shield thingees, just never could justify the cost. Now if
I could just get John to quantify the damage reduction one would see by
raising their AC by 5-6%...
