Check the Karanas out. W Kar has tons of mistwolves, N kar has tons of
Silvermist wolves, E kar has tons of war wolves... Some might drop a white
mist wolf pelt which I suspect is no good for you, but I think they also
drop normal pelts sometimes. Could be wrong though, but with that amount of
lupines around surely something will be good to you.

right, I get high quality cat pelts all the time, but need wolf pelts for
small armor and have never seen one

The higher level you are, the greater chance you have of finding med. and
high
quality pelts. The same principle as getting more money off mobs the
higher
level you get.
