Come to think of it, its very easy to get Shin Gauntlets just by running
into Lower Guk and /auctioning. They are no drop and are often left to rot
near the zone line. If you have not killed any frogloks before and are not
agnostic you should be able to run thru Upper Guk totally unmolested. The
froggies never even notice me when I run thre there and I got my Shin
Gauntlets at level 15 in just theat manner for free.

You can get netted armor in the swamps or the sewers of
QEynos. You have to go into GUk, I believe, to get Mesh :(
