I can&#39;t believe that is the reason cited. I think it is another example of<br/>
Verant throwing the first available answer rather than doing any real<br/>
checking.<br/>

First off, the spell effects on ALL the other armor (except shaman) are<br/>
infinitely more useful in combat than the effects on our armor. Secondly, in<br/>
terms of whether AC matters to us bards the answer is unequivicably yes.<br/>
Anything that gets me bashed less is good. Even when I&#39;m singing nothing but<br/>
clarity, I&#39;m in the front line hacking at the mobs. As such, I tend to get<br/>
beat on quite a bit. Bards need AC, that&#39;s why we are a plate wearing class.<br/>
