Because it is. Kunark items seem to be aimed at bringing melee classes up
in power to match the ability of caster classes. It's about time actually.
With mobs quad popping, casting ae affects, having 32khp etc the melee
classes were becoming extinct. These new items were sorely needed in a
world where 7/23 was one of the best 1hs weapons available.
