My palette is identical except that instead of /assist, I have a /pet
who is leader as a quick way to let my group know that something is
charmed. If I don't do this, I inevitably have a nuker who gets on my
case because they wasted mana on a charmed creature. Well, except my
regular group, they always know what's going on. =) I generally use
F1 (F8 for you default binding people I think) to target the nearest
mob and send my pet to work then retarget my pet and play
buff/mana/heal/something non-targeted. In cases where there's only 1
mob, that would be the main tank's target anyway, and in cases where
there's more than one, I use my pet to take an extra off the main tank
rather than help him beat down the one he's on. If I'm charming, that
means we don't have an enchanter, so it acts kind of like I mess'd 2
mobs. And it entertains my group. =)
