Other than the stupid looting decision made by Verant, one which stands
directly opposed to their idea that players should not be able to harm one
another if they aren't PvP btw, I think the rogue class is very desirable.

I've had good success grouping with rogues with my bard, my druid, my
wizard, and my shaman. Any class that can 'get the attention' of another
mob will find rogues quite valuable. Bards used to be the absolute best at
this and I remember once grouping with a rogue when I was around 15th lvl.
He'd backstab it and it would turn to face him, my song would pulse it would
face me, he'd backstab it, etc. etc.

I think rogues got the shaft in a way because Verant couldn't figure out how
to make traps work. They seem to have only poorly implemented locks as
well. Other than that rogues seem to be pretty good fighters.

I've been reading posts about what an awesome combonation it is pairing a
bard and a rogue (written by both bards and rogues) I haven't heard so much
from other classes about great success they have with rogues. It may be
that other combonations don't work as well, so their opinions of Verants
Weakest Class haven't changed.

My low-level rogue generally gets refused for groups because those involved
are sure there must be SOMEONE out their in the right level range that would
be better for the group than me. That and the unspoken accusation that I'll
steal their loot.
