yup, any bard that isn't doing resist buffing on a dragon run should get
punted by his group. Dragons are serious business. Bards are there for 1
reason and 1 reason only (ok well 2 reasons)

1) MR we can crank by over 100 with 2 songs
2) HR or CR which we can crank by over 50
3) Manasong or haste depending on which group we're in.
4) Regen (if you can keep 4 going. With my new vid card I can during a
dragon raid)

Bottom line, we are in on dragon runs and god runs for our incredible resist
buffs which cannot be dispelled and, if applied correctly, render all other
buffs placed on the raid party to be impossible to dispell as well (since
the critter will only be dispelling a buff that will be back in about 6
seconds anyway)

Why would a bard use a drum to kill a dragon?

Because our drums add dramatically to our resist buffs.
