IIRC, Verant stated before Kunark was released that some of the new magic
items that would be found in Kunark would be deity specific. Guess they
decided not to implement the idea.

picked one of the Marrs back in April '99, and it's pretty annoying that
both the Mask of Deception and
the Iksar Hide Mask are, essentially, utterly worthless as a consequence.
