I've taken the shuttle to the boat three or four times from Timorous Deep.
Sorry you got killed without knowing about it.

shows (quite correctly) the boat dock at the Elven Outpost at approx
loc -4000, -4000 has a shuttle to the boat (the red lines are shuttle
routes).
Again the wait for the shuttle is VERY long. Also - I do believe that you
end up on the opposite side of the boat as the Butcherblock Shuttle. (This
is probably why Bill is unaware of it) If you forget to switch sides and
want to get to Fironia - it is a VERY long round trip to Butcherblock and
back.
Literally the day I got Kunark - I took the trip from the Oasis Raft to
Timorous to get to FV. I had to trial and error my way. I made the wrong
side of boat mistake. I literally spent like three hours getting from
Atonica to Kunark.
Then my Druid buddy gets online and gates to Dreadland - and we couldn't
figure out how to get him from the Druid circle there to the Fironia Vie
zone! Was quite an experience.
