To keep this whole concept on topic, I&#39;d like to start a survey of system <br/>
specs vs. apparent performance.<br/>
Just fill in the blanks and let&#39;s share what works and what doesn&#39;t!<br/>

Computer Specs for Bards<br/>
<br/>
CPU:  Duron 600 <br/>
RAM:  128M PC100 <br/>
Video Card (and RAM):  Soon to be Voodoo5 5500 (64M although with 2 video<br/>
processors in SLI mode it equates to 32M) <br/>
Video Resolution:  640x480 <br/>
Sound Card:  Diamond Monster MX300 (dang Aureal for going belly up!) <br/>
HD speed (rpm):  not 7200RPM sure wish it was <br/>
&#39;Net speed:  Cable modem (I&#39;ve been getting way high ping times recently --<br/>
saw something on the Verant boards about checking packet fragmentation which<br/>
I&#39;ll try out soon.  I&#39;ll let everyone know how it goes.)<br/>
Geographic Location:  Oklahoma <br/>
Options enabled or disabled:<br/>
       Sky texturing:  Double Layer <br/>
       Particle Effects:  Max <br/>
       Mip Mapping:  will be on with Glide mode <br/>
Clip plane distance:  Max (with the GTS in ALL zones I have played in with<br/>
NO video lag -- assume the same with Voodoo5) <br/>

How many songs can you twist?  3 (never tried 4) <br/>
Do you slow down when it rains?  no <br/>
How about in Unrest or Kunark?  no video lag with GTS (assume none with<br/>
Voodoo5) <br/>
