Alternatively, if you use the (dam+0.5)/delay method, which
accounts for the early max damage formula being 2*dam+1:

DC - .289
DD - .283
SM - .243
Almost the same, but the demon claws come out ahead of the
dragoon dirk, and the tomahawk is almost as good as the barbed
leather whip.
