They also thought that was a perfectly legal method of determining if you
were running programs which monitored communications to your own PC on the
slim possibility that they might be reading the data that they sent to you.
I would guess that their lawyer is a standard business practice lawyer with
little experience in copyright and intellectual property law and none in
constitutional law.
