Well, this is interesting because its an issue that almost tore our guild
apart - in fact it incapacitated us for a few weeks. Some people had
emotional attachments to certain races, as one guildmate said, "EQ is about
killing giants and dragons."

The hunt leader wanted one thing (emulate FoH) and the majority of the guild
wanted another. In the end he convinced us that faction was fixable and we
are off on a Dain killing frenzy (well, ok we haven't actually offed him yet
- was at 2% last night =/).

Most importantly though, I have to agree that while its fun owning new big
Velious baddies, the risk/reward is WAY off, the mobs hit too hard and seem
to just require throwing more people at a challenge than actually using
tactics and strategy. The drops are good but really, out of an 80 person
guild, how many are actually going to GET them?
