Couple additional points, loot is automatically lotto'd in groups. Quest
items go to questers but everything else is random.

In addition to anti-twinking there's anti-camping features.

1) You get a camp XP bonus that is pretty nice but goes down the longer
you stay at a camp.

2) Except for quest items, drops are random. There's very little NPC
camping.

3) You only get drops if you are in level range to get XP. If it's gray
you'll never get loot from it.

All this makes money very tight. You have to keep upgrading your equipment
as you level and you can't extra cash by camping low level trash.

Btw, the quality of the game at release is really phenominal. Mystic did a
great job. Not too crowded, no serious bugs and tons of fun low level
quests and tasks to get items, cash and XP.

Finally, a couple of my favorite features are the tradeskills and
grouping. Trades are done very well and, while very expensive, promise
equipment superior to drops or store bought (real income!). The grouping
interface shows you which groups are looking for people, who is solo lfg
and shows group leaders who is lfg by the class they need. Level range and
distance are set automatically.

I was also in the last beta.
The other thing is that weapons are rated compared to your ability to
use
them. If you use a weapon that is better than you are then you are
unable
to use it to its maximum potentional. If it is way above you, you
can
actually damage the weapon by using it, probably since you would be
incapable of using it correctly.

Nice twist on anti-twinking.

Looting is different. When the MOB dies it drops stuff on the
ground, you
need to select it and get it. Your loot is your loot, no one else
can pick
it up. On the downside, if someone doesn't want the loot and leaves
it
there, you cannot ever take it. I do beleive it is theirs until
it
disappears.
