Enjoying DAoC immensely. More more stable and well thought out than EQ was
or is. Playing a Midgard Healer. This is a Cleric archtye that has sow,
stuns, crowd control, rezzes at 10th level, clarity and can solo with nice
self buffs. I love the versatility and group focus which is what I liked
most about EQ Bards.
In addition, she's an Apprentice Armourer making cool studded leather and
chain mail (Iron, Steel and almost Alloy).
Hard to predict high-end game yet. But there doesn't seem to be the focus
on dungeon crawls and camping in one spot is worthless. XP is penalized
and most drops are random anyway. The questing and task system are far
superior to EQ and great at level 1 even.
We'll see how I like it after another month or so, but so far it's a
blast. Can't wait for RvR.
