thanks for the helpful information. i guess we will have to work on some
levels now, but my guild is racing fast atm. made wizzie epic yesterday,
have 2 rangers with epic, one mage, one rogue...

will inform you when we had our first wipe ;)

The most important thing when engaging Gorenaire is the raid level. Nothing
helps resists more than level. I remember my warrior "helped" kill her once
when I was level 55. I had 240 ish verse Cold and somewhere around 225 save
verses magic. I spent 80% of the time feared. We have killed her several
times, killed her last week. I was level 59 with about the same amount of
save resists. I was never feared. I firmly believe level of raid has a lot
to do with success. Gorenaire only has 32k hit points, so you want to kill
as fast as possible. Try to get as many monks, rogues and most importantly
Wizards. We usually try to have 6+ wizards and then have all the malee
characters use their best damage discipline. With the right amount of people
and resists, she will go down fairly easy. It is kind of like VS in Kanors,
just not as fast, it is just an all out NUKE and /disc party.

Hello all - I just got back from a two week tour of Germany with my
band.
Before I left we camped Ragefire for a cleric's epic - and he
dropped a red
scale that my guild defaulted to me.

Tonight we tried Gorenaire and got wiped twice. That damn fear
doesn't seem
to care what your resistance is <sigh> got her down to 50 percent
the second
try.

Anywho - any advice from people who've had success with this sucker?
