It works wonderfully.

Go to say an orc camp with 2 orcs. Make one sad then quickly draw
the other away by attacking it. The sad one stays put. If you are quick
about it you can make a couple and maybe even 3 sad. It wears off quickly
so you need to be fast. This is in comparison to how you usually would
have to take on both orcs (or 3 or 4 even) at once.

It doesnt do anything from a pvp perspective but is a neat parlor trick
to give people "A deep sense of loss" when they least expect it.
