Uhmm, smart-ass me thought so -- so I bet my party I could beat them to
Qeynos from SK bridge (they were bitching that Selo's cancelled their SoW's
and that is another story.) Out of the starting gate, things looking good.
But then my str buff wore off and I became encumbered. I lost in a big way.
SoW is way over modeled - we need to petition for changes <g>

Seriously, it will depend also on your weight / agi (if I get encumbered my
agi takes a big hit - so don't know if its merely weight or agi or both.)

I just noticed the announcement for the High Moon Festival
on Povar. (for
those not privy, go to
http://everquest.station.sony.com/n_news.html#news0702c )

During this Festival, one of the events will be an "Iron
man" race:

[snips]

Wow!!! But... um.. SoW, huh? Is it just me, or can a Bard
with a drum
outrun SoW any day of the week? Not to mention what we're
hearing about
this battledrum....

Methinks a Povar Bard will win this competition if he's
smart ;)
