Yikes. I don't know if I really care for this or not....

If I want a lore item that I have NEVER seen before, I FINALLY figure out
where it is, and it's on a GREEN MOB and I can't loot it when I kill it, I
will probably be just a LITTLE upset.

I understand the reason, to prevent farming, etc. So, I either buy it from
someone (which makes all that plat actually VALUABLE for something), or, I
take along a lower level buddy.

Ah well, will be interesting to see! Thanks for the info!
