I usually auction or shout an IC request. I pretty much have
money to burn (have started buying steel plate since I have
nothing else to spend it on), so I pay roughly 1gp per level
(e.g. 2.5pp at L26). The vast majority of binders have
refused payment.

If I don't get any responses, I keep trying and usually give
like 5pp to the person who eventually does bind me. I want
him to start thinking, "Boy am I glad I answered that bind
request. I should do so more often."
