I used the tommy for a while with my dirk and, in my opinion, found the only
benefit of the tommy over the whip being that I would receive the hard skin once
in a while. But I, like many others, can't stand the way the tommy sucks my
stamina. Definitely stick with the dirk if you are going to dual wield.
