Yup. I added up the damage after a fight, me using a dirk and
barbed whip, and my paladin friend using a shiny brass
halberd. He did almost twice the damage I did. It is very
very impressive seeing:

Paladin slashes Mob for 32 points.
Paladin slashes mob for 33 points.

show up simultaneously.
