<div id="ygrps-yiv-1486616380">Thanks to everyone on the list, I&#39;ve got my hotkeys set up pretty well and<br/>
am able to easily juggle 3 songs and switch instruments without too much<br/>
trouble (I keep it all in a box, so that random loot doesn&#39;t fill hotkey<br/>
slots).<br/>

However, one major problem I&#39;ve noticed is that I spend waaaay too much<br/>
time looking at the chat window, watching for the notification that X<br/>
effect has started. So much that I don&#39;t notice my health or the enemies<br/>
health most of the time. Glancing up to watch the health has to be timed<br/>
right so I don&#39;t miss a starting message.<br/>
<br/>
Is there any good way to determine when it starts without watching the<br/>
chat window? I haven&#39;t noticed any visible song effects except on songs<br/>
like chords. :/<br/>
