If you are in the mid-teens I would recommend going to Infected Paw. It is
generally empty and you can kill gnolls until you are so overloaded with
loot you can't even move. If you get a decent sized group of level 15's you
should be able to take Nobles and maybe even a commander or named shamen.
Nobles drop snakeskin armor, and named shamen drop runed totem staffs from
time to time. From levels 16-19(current level) I made many trips to Paw...I
have over 170pp in the bank now...and a combine scim...pugius dagger...
